An important part of every HIW Sunday is the after-church get-together with coffee and refreshments. Have some coffee, tea, or juice, and enjoy some of the savory or sweet tidbits brought by other visitors, many of them deliciously home made.
More importantly though, this is an opportunity to meet people from all over the world who have come together to worship. Get to know people from many countries and backgrounds, and enjoy the fellowship and a relaxed chat with other visitors.
Of course you are welcome to contribute: Treat the other visitors to some of your own favorite finger food!
Especially for our December service of Nine Lessons of Carols, when we have hundreds of people attending, we depend upon everybody contributing to the potluck buffet.
Please note:
During the time of the pandemic, we will have to decide on short notice if the situation allows having refreshments after the service. This will be announced in each service.
If we can have refreshments, this is currently required to be under 2G conditions. So please have your vaccination certificate ready as you leave the church and enter the annex.
Much as we enjoy the different kinds of homemade food everybody brings, current hygiene requirements make this very difficult. Therefore, we ask you not to bring any food at the moment. We will provide cookies or small snacks.
