An important part of every HIW Sunday is the after-church get-together with coffee and refreshments. Have some coffee, tea, or juice, and enjoy some of the savory or sweet tidbits brought by other visitors, many of them deliciously home made.
More importantly though, this is an opportunity to meet people from all over the world who have come together to worship. Get to know people from many countries and backgrounds, and enjoy the fellowship and a relaxed chat with other visitors.
Of course you are welcome to contribute: Treat the other visitors to some of your own favorite finger food!
Especially for our December service of Nine Lessons of Carols, when we have hundreds of people attending, we depend upon everybody contributing to the potluck buffet.
For World Day of Prayer, all creative amateur chefs in the congregation are invited to try recipes from whichever country the service comes from, so everyone can experience the special taste of that country.
